Rhonda
I am a dedicated Black female Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in Buffalo, New York, committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care to individuals and families. With a strong foundation in clinical social work, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex life transitions. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Nazareth University and am currently practicing in the Buffalo community, where I work to empower clients by building on their strengths and fostering resilience. As a Black woman in the mental health field, I am deeply committed to addressing systemic barriers and creating safe, affirming spaces for marginalized and underserved populations. I am currently working toward my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential and continue to expand my clinical expertise to better serve my community.

Therapeutic approach
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I tailor each session to meet your individual needs while honoring your cultural identity and lived experiences. I work in a collaborative, supportive way that balances emotional processing with practical tools you can use in your everyday life.
